Anyone have issues with these intermittent wipers?? Apparently they don't work on the old "timer" principle and now use some type of infrared or sensor type reading.
Well in the daytime they work fine, but at night if the darn road is dark, the stupid sensor doesn't detect the rain drops accumulating on my windshield. They will activate if suddenly I drive by a light pole or approaching car that shines their lights onto the windshield or and I have to manually move the wiper gear up/down or rotate the sensitivity switch to activate them.
Same crap can happen in the day time if there is a fine mist... i can't see diddly
