Yes, they gave me a few days to consider warranty.
I don't know if you have looked at this car very much. It is a massive computer. Any repairs there is in the thousands.
If you have not clicked on my links above, let me just throw some numbers at you...
I broke my 2 lower controls arms offroading the heck out of my QX in the San Juan hills in Colorado. Cost about $4,000 or so to replace.
Warranty refused to install those without new front shocks. Warranty said I must cover the front shocks and springs, since they are wear and tear items and not covered by warranty. I paid about $1,400 out of pocket for those.
My dvd headrest went out. Warranty paid all $2,400 for it.
My rear camera went out. Warranty paid all $1,200 for it.
My transmission module control system went out. Warranty paid all $2,300 for it.
My warranty has already paid over $10,000 in repairs. And that is over 3 times what i paid for my warranty.
I have a 2012 QX56 with currently 98,500 miles on it as of today.
My warranty is still valid for the next 4 years or 45,000 miles. If I tell you that I do not want my QX again to get bad, I would be telling you a lie. A lot of people pay for warranties and before they use it, their warranties are expired and then they get very upset. As much as I hate the fact that my car has been to the dealership for such serious problems, I honestly do not mind my QX getting bad, as long as I am covered under warranty for repairs,

.
And before my warranty expires in the next 4 years or 45,000 miles, I hope my QX gets bad multiple times and all those problems hopefully be covered under warranty. I never in my life thought I would wish that on a car, but I do on my car.
Here is my QX after my offroading road trip and the day i picked it up from the dealership after all repairs done.
