I just cleared this fault on my 2013 QX56. Has anyone ever had this fault?

its definitely not common on any car really. that code means a fault at a main part of the system.. either the brain, bcm, tcm, or a harness.

did you get /see any other codes?

did the car /has the car been acting up or behaving differently?

did you modify anything prior?

are you the only owner of this car or is it used?

have you had any other rare codes on the car before?

was the MIL/check engine lamp on? flashing or steady lit?

I don't mean to hijack this post, but I have a similar issue. My 2013 QX56 felt like it had a few hard shifts and threw a U0100 and U0101 code. A few weeks ago I had some no-starts (not even cranking), changed the ignition module, cleared the codes (P1650 and P1651) and then it ran like a champ.

Car is used - we bought it about 60k miles ago.

Thanks for joining a forum and giving this info. For archival sake, do you know that the ignition module part number was? How many total miles on the vehicle?
