Went to a dealer and clicked some pics of QX's on the lot. The platinum graphite is looking a little washed out in the sun compared to other colors. Pls convince me that I made the right call!!

What do you guys think about the white QX. Everyone I show these pics to likes the white. I am soooo confused

We got the black only because my hubby didn't like the graphite. I liked both, but the platinum graphite would have been a hole heck of a lot easier to keep clean. I think both the black and wheat are terrible interiors with kids. The black is really hard to keep clean as well. I guess "clean" isn't the right word. The black just shows every speck of dust, dog hair, and crumb imaginable. Some sort of darker tan or grey (although I loath grey) would work better for "seeing" everything. Oh well, loved the car, just sometimes do not think it was designed for a family with young kids.

Now, if they would just make a dark maroon, like the old QX style, I'd be in heaven!!

Well...I tried hard to convince myself that platinum graphite is the way to go. Even put a deposit down with a dealer for fully loaded 2012 brand new.
Finally changed my mind and got my money back. Plat graphite was just not doing it for me. I think white really pops on the qx and so I am gonna get that.
Talked to dealer and he said the 2013 could be orderable as early as this month end for Sep end delivery so I guess I am waiting for that right now....

Was wondering why infiniti does not offer a Dark blue QX? Also have heard from a couple of people that they wish the white (pearl) were more creamy ( like the escalade). Any thoughts?

I have a bias towards the liquid platinum and black. It is true the black is tough to keep clean. When the liquid platinum is clean with a shine, it is hard to beat the appeal and looks awesome.

I will say this, that the graphite color has a serious mismatch problem with the front and rear bumpers when compared to the rest of the vehicle. The color of the bumpers in this graphite is noticably different from the rest of the sheet metal. All of the colors except Black have this problem, but the graphite is by far the worst.

If you build out a new 4WD QX56 on Infinity's website and select liquid platinum with graphite leather/mocha burl trim the car is required to have the 22" tire and wheel pkg and the deluxe touring pkg. These are not options in this color combination model. The color combination you select may indicate how loaded the vehicle is. The fully loaded liquid platinum model is the car used by Infinity when they first introduced the new body style in 2010. In my opinion the aesthetics and elegance of the QX are really accentuated with the liquid platinum or white exterior colors.

Personally, have had blue, silver, grey, and white vehicles in the past. Never went with black even though it is a really nice color for most cars. I hate seeing swirls on darker colored cars from washing and detailing. Silver, grey and white hides dirt and paint imperfections well IMHO.

Previous 2 vehicles were white, so my Toyota Tundra is silver and glad I went with that color as any stone chips and scratches are hard to see. Wife traded in the white MDX and we decided on the Diamond Graphite (same color as the Platinum Graphite south of the border). Didn't want to go with the white again since our MDX was white and Dark Currant wasn't our taste. A friend got a black 2012 QX and the amount of rain we get in the Pacific Northwest and brine/salt on the road makes keeping a black car looking clean very difficult. But I do admit, the black QX looks very sharp when clean and white is a close second. I'm just too lazy to wash the QX every week so went with a color that hides dirt well.

Graphite, it's a show stopper!
