Surging Transmission at low RPM
I'm having a similar symptom with my 2011 QX56, but it only does this at a very low RPM moving between 10 - 15 mph. I haven't taken it to the dealer but was concerned that it could be a symptom of a larger problem. I've only noticed the surging recently and I have 84,000 miles on the truck.
However, 80% of my driving is at high highway speeds where the truck performs like a dream. I've come to believe that the surging is probably from my lack of sustained driving at a speed between 10 - 15 mph. Yes I can make the transmission surge if I maintain that very low RPM, but it doesn't seem all that worrisome to me because I don't think the truck was made to drive between 10 - 15 mph for a sustained period.
Just my two cents
