When streaming music from my son's ipad via Bluetooth, I sometimes (20-30% of the time) get really "skippy" and choppy (unlistenable) playback. Also, the ipad will sometimes randomly disconnect and then try to reconnect for a long time with no success. I have to turn the truck off and back on and re-pair the device for it to reconnect successfully.
This happens regardless of where the ipad is located (front seat/back seat/ glove box)
It is an ipad 4th generation (first one with the small connector on the bottom)
The OS on the ipad is fully updated. The ipad pairs perfectly via Bluetooth to speakers and wireless headsets.
All other Bluetooth functions on the truck (paired with two cell phones) work perfectly.
Does this seem like just a quirky Bluetooth/Ipad/Infinity issue that's just bound to happen and I just have to live with it?
OR... is there some sort of legitimate Bluetooth music streaming issue floating around out there that can be fixed by the dealer?
Thanks in advance...
