Windshield Rubber Trim/Seal has a Half-Inch Gap

I just purchased a new 2010 QX56 and while washing it for the first time noticed that the rubber windshield trim/seal has a half-inch gap where the two ends should meet (I think) at the middle/bottom of the windshield. Should I be concerned?
