Why Is My Tach Not Working....Properly

I have an 04 QX56 and recently my tachometer has been acting erratic and sometimes it doesn't read at all. I also have an annoying clicking noise under the passanger side dash when the cliamate control system is on. Any assistance is greatly appreciated

me too. the sound is the climate control adjusting to some other setting like blowing on the floor, always does this in mine i hate it, i cant find the answer for the tach..
