what motors will swap into my 01 I30?

I have a 2001 Infiniti I30 and i believe the engine is locked. the starter is engaging and making a solid connection and i cannot turn the balancer with a ratchet. any advice? will a motor from a 2000 Maxima SE fit my car?

yes it will. the maxima and the i30 is the same car different body.. you have the vq30 dek motor and also the maxima 00-01 has the vq30dek motor. if you want some better power go for the vq35dek motor which can be found in the 02+ maxima and i35. there is somoe work that has to be done like moving over the timing components, but it's worth it.
