Riding home this afternoon with the family I heard a noise coming from the engine. I got out, looked, and realize that the noise was coming from the a/c compressor. By the time I got home, the compressor was all but sized up and the belt broke off after pulling into my driveway 
not a fun experience! I guess I am grateful that it broke off in the driveway and not on the road. At least the serpentine belt is still under warranty, so I guess I can get that one for free. I have been looking on eBay and the compressors don't seem to cost as much as I thought....So there is a little relief there 
. So I guess my weekend is booked.
Hey got my new compressor today it is OEM. Does anyone know if the oil is already in it or if I need to put some in? On the small label, it looks like it has oil in from the manufacturer. Also when I look at the high and low side I can see some oil but not much.
