Did a search on this but saw nothing so I hope I'm not telling you guys something you are already very familiar with.

I took my truck in for the 30K service and told them the throttle was twitchy. It was either on too much or not enough at start. He said without pause "so it has a hesitation?" I thought for a second and said, "Yeah, I guess it does" He said they'll look at doing an ECM reprogram. By the way he said it I thought they must have been dealing with this on quite a few vehicles. Got the service, they said it needed the ECM reprogram which apparently changed the part #. I guess it's a recall or something. I'll be damned if the thing doesn't drive beautifully now. This is how she should drive. I guess if you notice a weird throttle response tell the dealer you have a hesitation and may need an ECM reprogram.

this is tied to your VIN and there are some models that need an ecm reprogram.

i have seen 2011 first run qx owners that needed this done, with worse case getting it replaced.

certain cases one can simply remove the power from the car for a short time and thus erasing the ECM memory. there is also a key/accelerator/door open seance that will also wipe the ecm's memory. :D
