You don't need to buy new ones. Just get your originals done. I have a painter going to tint my taillights and reflectors down low on the bumper the proper way with tinted clear and he is going to tape off the backup light portion. Don't use that crappie NHT tint in the aerosol can or the film. If you do it have someone remove them and custom paint them the right way.

Make sure to check your state laws which may regulate the tinting of tail light covers.

Kansas:

"After-Market Products

Buyer beware! The Kansas Highway Patrol regularly encounters after-market vehicle products that do not meet state and federal vehicle standards. Use of after-market products, especially after-market vanity products -- including some replacement lights, hood-mounted LED lights, valve stem lights, smoked light covers, and additional window tint -- may violate state law.

Buyers should specifically inquire whether the products they are purchasing are legal to install on motor vehicles in Kansas. Vendors who sell vehicle products that do not meet state standards or violate state law may face prosecution under the Kansas Consumer Protection Act."
