Theatre Package Remote

We just picked up a 2012 White with Graphite 4WD QX56. We love it! We replaced a 2007 yukon xl denali with it. The new QX is alot smaller, but we like it a lot!

Well, we are 3 weeks in and we lost the remote for the TV's. Can we just use a universal remote or do we have to use the Infiniti one? The ones I saw on Ebay were $150! Wow... Thanks,

well the infiniti remote is setup to allow you to select one screen or the other plus it has other features a generic remote will not have.

if you had an armada and had that setup, then I would say yeah get a universal, but with the intricate design of the Qs setup, the stock remote is recommended.

the system uses IR so, again, you may get basic functions from a generic.

Didn't lose mine. But it got crunched when I put down the seats. .. Called the dealership and was quoted 285.00 for replacement.. (Wow). Bought it on eBay ..for 150.00 works like a charm. . I have a 2012 unit as well.. Good luck.. Bite the bullet and buy the OEM on eBay. .. You will be happy you did..
