Steering Shakes

Have a 2008 QX 56 that I have asked the dealer @ 12,000 miles why the steering shakes when at high speeds ( 60 to 80 MPH ). When I apply the brakes, the steering " chemmys " or shakes. The steering does not " pull " so feel the aligment is OK. The dealer was unable to find a cause. This shaking is quite noticeable on the highway. Any thoughts ?

It's most likely your brake rotors, my fx did the same thing

Will have it checked tomorrow. Interesting that the problem was noted at less than 12,000 miles.
