Soo, I drove into garage with the rear liftgate open!

So after coming home from work and opening the liftgate to get out my bag before parking her into garage I drove into it and needless to say heard a horrible noise. Worse then that when I heard the noise I put it in reverse! Yup, the entire spoiler thing on the rear glass was being held together by what I do not know. Now it is very loose and I actually saw some metal screws where I assumed the spoiler attaches it self. Does anyone know ho wit is held on and If I can fix it myself?

Right now it's held on by the upper top portion byt I can lift it by the bottom where the window washer outlet is on the rear..any help would be great
 
Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I will say this - sometimes chit happens.

In addition to the QX, I have an 08' Armada......great unit. About a year ago I didn't pull into the garage far enough. My mind was on other things, and I got out and hit the button to close the garage door walking in to my house. Just as I was closing the house door, I hear a horrible sccrrrrreeeaach. It ended up being one of the aluminum pieces of the door scraping down the tailgate from just below the glass all the way until it hit the bumper, and then back up again. Left about a 10" gouge in it, well through the paint. It sucks, but chit happens.

Being that its plastic, id bet a large amount that the spoiler is broken. I have a small scratch on mine and asked a body shop about it he said they would have to replace it and the rear door panel has to come off to do so...
