Someone probably Stole Key for Q60S - Any cheap options?

So I think someone swiped my key to my car. I have the spare so I can get around, but it bothers me that someone can access/steal my car any time.

I called the dealership and they are saying they can change the frequency of the key for $100 which will prevent anyone from starting it, but they will still be able to unlock it and the trunk. They said to have that prevented I'd have to spend like $1000 for a whole reimage or some bs like that.

Are there any other cheaper better options here? I am leasing the car just fyi.

Thats false. All you have to do is buy a new key to replace the stolen one and have that and the one you have reprogrammed. Whenever we reprogram keys at the dealership, the customer is required to bring all keys for the vehicle. any keys left at home or lost will no longer be programmed once you reprogram it. we charge $150 for the procedure minus the cost of the key.
