Random Beeps and Clicks

We just bought a 2012 QX56 and were hoping folks here can help figure out a couple of issues.

1. the electronics seem to work sporatically...for example,
a. the bluetooth works one ride, but then doesn't work the next time and is greyed out on the settings display, or
b. the windows roll up with one click on ride A, then, on ride B you have to hold the switch the next.

2. there are random beeps and clicks coming from the center console that don't seem tied to any controls...I've recorded them and will post here if someone tells me how.

is the car used?

is there a warranty?

if you just purchased the car and its acting like this, take it back to the dealer.

in the meantime, go to pep boys or similar and see if there are any codes to pull from the OBD port. that is a good place to start.

was it in a flood?

could be an issue with the HDD in the system, or the BCM. difficult to tell.

is it AWD? what trim options are on the car?

did you pull a carfax type report on the car if its used? thats also a good place to find out the history...

blue tooth setting won't work while car is moving (stupid lock-out feature) ... maybe the blue tooth is turned off on your phone; I turn my off sometimes when the wifey is in the car, so that when my phone rings it doesn't show my girlfriend is calling on the big screen

you must be somehow deactivating the "quick" up on the windows... I've done that a few times when trying to get the window to stop from going up/down all the way; sometimes I just need a little crack to air out the car when the wifey farts

no idea on #2, I only have paper and useless junk in my center console
