QX56 color

Folks...I am about to lease a fully loaded 2012 qx56.

I need a lighter color and I am torn between the liquid platinum(silver) and the
platinum graphite(gray??). The interior will be black leather.

Which color looks best on the QX?

Almost did the graphite, until I saw the black, love the look of the big black SUV, but hate to keep it clean..

black. black.. black.... i wash the car every friday. takes me 35 minutes to wash (fender wheels, wheels, inside and out) and dry it. then another 45 minutes to detail it.

I too prefer the Black .. the Silver looks hokey .. at least to me. Some like it though, as I see them periodically on the road.

I went black on black as well. It's an incredibly beautiful package. I purchased the interior and exterior package along with the diamond fusion. So far I am impressed.

We did the Dark Currant and get lots of complements on it. My second favorite is the Graphite. We bought the Wheat interior but wouldn't do it again...too hard to keep clean with 5 kids.

I have the liquid platinum, but I'm very jealous when I see the platinum graphite. I would go with the platinum graphite.

I'm thinking about both of these colors, but want the Wheat interior. Which one looks better with the light interior?

the wheat interior is a disaster to clean and to keep clean according to posts ive seen across a few forums. wheat looks good but will get dingy super quick.

Maybe I will just hope that Infiniti adds the Java interior color from the JX to the 2013 QX.

Agreed! I love that Java interior. I drive a 2011, and would consider trading for a 2013 with Java interior. It's the only thing that would get me in a new vehicle next year.

You guys really made me change my mind.

Order is in for a brand new platinum graphite with graphite interior. Split bench, theater, tech and touring. Should have it in mid June!!

I have vpp so I get invoice which is 70,651. Plus there is 1000 bonus cash for vpp so that takes it down to 69,651
My dealer doc fees is 168....so total becomes 69,819.
I need to add 3% nc sales tax which brings it to 71,913. I probably have to spend $1000 to get it shipped to me as dealer is a 1000 miles away. So looking at 73 k out of pocket total.

I cannot imagine buying a car that the nearest dealer is 1000 miles away...what if something goes wrong..

LOL...actually the nearest infinity dealer is only 7 miles away.
The nearest dealer who has a new Infinity QX56 with the color and the exact options that I want is a 1000 miles away.

Congratulations on the new QX! I had mine shipped as well (only 250 miles) and there were no issues with mine. Just to share my experiences with the wheat interior for those that are considering it. I bot my QX in February, it now has 4000 miles on it. I have a 15yr old daughter who is in a carpool with three other girls, so there is a lot of climbing in an out. My wife drives one to two times a week (25 miles each way). We also have a 12yr old son who is constatanty getting taken to various sporting venues with team-mates and I can honestly say that the wheat interior is holding up very well. It responds well to any of the leather cleaners that I've used and we've had no issue keeping the carpet clean. I was reluctant to go this route for the fears that have been mentioned by other members, but between the color(Mountain Sage) and living in Fla I took the chance on the Wheat interior and I'm glad that I did. Hope this helps those that are on the fence.
