I like it, curious is it a black Chrome or a flat black painted grill?

this grille has been out since 2011 so its not new. there are a couple of photos of it elsewhere on this forum.
its black chrome but not really black enough to justify the 500 bones they want for it.
the OP didn't ask for peoples' opinion, just that they posted the photo in case anyone is interested, so why get upset that no one has responded?
the majority of folks who patrol this forum clearly dont think its something they want or need.
it does not stand out enough for me to justify getting it. i have seen it in person and its not all that imo, but we all have our opinions and YMMV

Marctronix, it does bother me that no one responds. Forums are to share opinions, ideas even (hopefully), constructive criticism. With over 200 views on this topic and finally 5 responses..I just find it incredulous that people bother to join this forum if there is no input. The least people can do is comment on something when member takes the time to post a picture. I don't know....I have been on 5 forums beginning when the internet begun forums I have just never seen such lack of interest in many posts..not just this Chrome grill post. I enjoy this forum and check it every other day...it's the sound of crickets I hate ;-)

I too have seen this particular grill. It doesn't match the lower plastic grill and sort of stands out.

i do think it matches the lower grill well enough - i don't think anyone would ever notice the difference. the lower plastic is a flatter black, but there's enough space and difference of viewing angle that it all blends together.
for the person who asked, it looks to be a painted black version of the standard grill, it is not flat black, it is glossy.
i got it because i think there is too much chrome crap on this car, and it's a small improvement on the overall look IMO. posted the pic because i couldn't find a clear one here.
