Question for the Liquid Platinum QX owners

On my 2012 QX, the front bumper parts (the molded plastic components) don't match up exactly to the paint color on the metal fender/hood parts. They are a slightly different shade of Platinum. It's especially noticeable in the sunlight.

I can understand that the parts are painted at different times, but wondering if this is normal across the Liquid Platinum line or is particular to my vehicle?

It is normal as we looked at quite a few Liquid Platinum QXs before we took delivery of ours. Since the front is plastic, it reacts differently to that color of paint. White is white, black is black, but the greys especially "show" the difference as the plastic reacts and takes the paint differently. I have seen this with other makes as well. So, your experience isn't unique as ours is exactly as you describe.
