Q70L Soundproofing

Hello all,

I have a 2019 CPO Q70L. Right off the bat the car has a lot of road noise at low and high speeds. Has OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE97AS tires installed. I will be swapping them out. I measured my decibel levels a getting between 77 to 81 at various speeds. Does Infiniti install any type of sound dampening material in their vehicles during manufacture? Just curious to know. Read a few threads on how loud Infiniti vehicles can be. Other than road noise I am happy with everything else.

Guys, the car is not noisy. Stop using crappy tires! Additionally, there's little thing you can do to improve the road noise from those crappy roads you have in the US...

I just got my Q70L so I'm still learning about them but from crutchfield photos I do see sound deadening material on the parcel shelf. Look up dynamat and its products they can be DIY installed or by a pro to make it quieter.
