Pulled the trigger on a 2012 QX56

i have a magaflow muff. removed the resonator also. the rumble is awesome but its not noticed on cruising speeds. the 7 gears really keep the sound low. you will hear some drone on higher RPMS (i.e. passing a car, going up a steep hill). i love the sound personally.

im at 14.5 MPG at just over 7K. if you make 20MPG please post a photo of it... i once made my 2008 armada get 18MPG but i was driving 45 MPH and i reset the MPG setting but soon after it went back down to 16...

there are tips you can install that will reduce or totally eliminate the drone...

mpg update

Up to 15.5 after two short road trips (3 and 6 hours round trip). Noticed the instant mpg while cruising at 80mph on flat highway with no measurable wind resistance is hovering just under the 20 mpg mark right around 18.5-19. I'm hopeful that on road trips I can get this. Still stock everything with around 1500 miles. BTW the 15.5 is .1 mpg less than the best our Tahoe ever got so I am pleased more daily. The extra hp under the hood is always nice as well. This rig is just plain fun to drive.
