When I graduated high school, my uncle felt that I got shafted on the who car situation as my sister was driving a family car and paying nothing but gas where I bought a little Ford Ranger and did (and still do) all of the upkeep and pay for everything on it. In his mind, this was not fair so he decided to pass down to me his Infiniti Q45 Anniversary Edition. It really is a beautiful car and I did not want it to get damaged while in my college parking lot so kept driving my truck. Now I am in a community with a gated, wide stall parking lot that has security gaurds and a job that can sustain a nicer style of living so I have decided that it is high time to start driving this beauty. One thing that I would like to do is update the stereo system to something that will be safe and nice for me to use. The only problem is that I do not want to change the layout of the cockpit at all. What I would like to do is integrate an MP3/USB charging and data transfer system (going through the glove box preferably) and Bluetooth capabilities as to have hands free phone. If possible, a talk to text feature would be awesome. Has anybody done an upgrade like this without changing the cockpit? I would like to get this done before I actually take over the car in the summer. Pictures to come when I take it over! Thanks!
