94 j30, I pulled the old pump out but couldn't wrestle the new one back in so I had a mechanic put the new one in. Had no power assist a slow speed, seemed to work once up to speed. exchanged the pump for another new one and had same guy put it in. Same thing happening still. Thought it might have to drive it for awhile to eliminate air in system but still no power assist at slow speeds. I don't know how much assist I actually have at higher speeds but it is drivable. Any thoughts?
