Hello all, been browsing these forums for quite awhile. I currently am having an issue with my qx56. I purchased it brand new in 2010 and has been a trouble free vehicle other than a starter no major issues. Well for the past week I have been trying to diagnose a issue that has arose. One morning I went to leave for work and the vehicle did not crank. On the dash I am getting the amber intelligent key light and the red vehicle with key light. Fob has new battery and the dash shows it's fully charged. Plugged in my snap on scanner and got no communication with any module on the vehicle. Started checking fuses and the starter. Got no blown fuses and start test good. Have no output on the starter wire from IPDM brand new battery and terminals as well. My question is I know the IPDMs in these vehicles are prone to failure. Would this cause all the vehicles modules to not be powered up and not detected? I do have power on the OBD port just no communication not one single module detected. I've tried three different scanners and same issue with each. Vehicle goes into ACC and ON on the ignition. I've also tried to start manually with the fob touching the start button and still nothing. Anyone had a similar issue?
