I pulled the middle console out and unplugged the airbags thinking it was attached to the console. Now, my airbag light is blinking. Do I need to get it looked at or can I just reset the sensor? If all I need is to reset it, how can I do that?
On the 99 and earlier models, the airbag light comes on when you move the seat.
Please leave all the safety equipment in tact. The light can be extinguished by turning the key in the on position and opening the drivers door and pushing the interior lighting button in quick succession 6 times I think. Try a few options 5 times 6 times etc. and it should work.
