Nav voice commands driving me nuts

hey rough,

did you go thru the training mode? also there are two settings, standard and advanced mode. the latter offers more commands whilst the former offers less commands. its possible, for example, you could be in standard voice command mode but using commands only avail in the advanced mode. there is also a continuous learning mode so you dont have to teach the Q commands all at once.

Yup... went through the training mode and everything. I'll say "one" and it will say "four", I'll say "Maryland" and it will say "Texas".... not even close. I mean my voice might be slightly nasal, but clear as day.... geeezzzz

what year is your car? 11 or 12? and when was it manufactured?

there is a service bulletin out for the nav. here let me post it...


smoke that over. if you feel your system is behaving like some of these symptoms, take this service bulletin to your local infiniti...

Thanks... I'll ask them about it on Thursday, as I'm taking it in for the full gauge recall.

But I think they already addressed this issue, several months back, unless this is a new issue. He said something about updating the NAV. I'll let u know

cool. i need to go in and get the fuel rail under the hood recall thingy done. its an all day job according to the service writer and when i went in the other day to get the diaper changed on Fatz (oil change and thats the name of my car) i didnt want to sit there all day.... my VIN did not pull up the fuel gauge recall....
