my 1996 I30 keeps stalling when I step on my clutch

Hi I'm new to this I'm on here trying to see if any body could help me with this I have a Infiniti i30 and I just replace my alternator like a week ago and now my car loose power when pressing on the clutch and sometimes it will shut off

My I-30 is automatic, if it wasn't I may be able to help with a more knowledgeable response. Your best bet at figuring it out is to find a place other than this form to brain pick people at your issue, I'm sure its not just an I-30 thing but that something like this could happen to any vehicle. you may ask several people who have mechanical experience.
