2012 QX. Toggling the little screen next to the speed indicator shows a MPG number - but toggling "info" on the nav screen has a mpg as well as mpg history. They never seem to align, and I can't figure out what the mpg internals mean or how they're set. anyone have a simple explanation?

the one on the combination reads the petrol and driving habits every 30 seconds or so and calculates a near real time average. the mpg on the navi screen just averages over a longer interval.

I have found they both are quite close. I just did a long trip (4 hr drive) and Nav screen said 13.6L and dash screen said 13.4L.
