Manual Transmission I30??

CAN IT BE DONE?!!

Been looking to start this as a project. Thinking that a 2000 Maxima 5-speed would work with the I30s since they share the same engine.

Has anybody done this before? What transmission did you use and what would you guys estimate the cost to be?

can be done before i had my 2000 i30 i had a 1997 i30 forest green slammed on d2 coilovers and i swapped it to stick with a 1997 maxima 5speed !

Same engine Same tranny Same ecu.. JUst a different body. If a maxima has it on it's motor or tranny it can be used on an i30. just use the maxima as a reference guide. I've taken a ton of extra maxima parts that i had laying around and put them on my buddies 96 i30 and he's had no issues at all.
