Infinity dealership said that my issue with my m35 jerking once putting in reverse from the park position is dur to the transmission fluid being dirty is this correct? Also they mentioned that a ATF flush is recommended. But i heard that if a flush has never been done thatit would mess up the trans. Is this true?

Sounds accurate. Transmission flush should do the trick to hopefully get rid of the gunk that's bogging up your valve body jets. Perhaps two flushes or a drain first then flush would be better. Transmission flush must be performed every two years
