first time Infiniti owner I started with a 2015 Q40 with 100k. Purchased about 2 weeks ago, 3 days ago while driving to work my speedo and tach went dark (the whole cluster actually went dark) a warning light with 2 keys on the left hand side came on. I haven’t been able to find the same warning light anywhere online or in the user manual which makes me believe I was seeing things. At any rate the cluster went dark but the engine was still running. I was in a rural area at 3am so I started heading towards civilization before shutting the car down and looking into it. I drove for about 10 min and the engine went out on the side of the highway.
Tried starting it up and it would turn over 2-3 times strong but would then stop. I did that about 4 times within the 15 min on the side of the road then it started. Dealership is stumped, they say to monitor it and get back.
I read in another post it was thought to be The Mass Air Flow sensor. Any similar cases out there or suggestions? If anyone has replaced the mass airflow sensors what was the damages? I did get an aftermarket warranty with it and am hoping it will cover.
