I have a 2011 qx56 with 2200 miles on it. It has been frustrating as my headlights and brake lights stay on after I lock the car. I read the manual and I don't use the auto setting. I don't understand what to do. I just leave it and it turns off eventually. Sometimes the lights turn off right away. Today, for example, it has been on for an hour - it is gloomy outside (does that matter?). It must be draining the battery, but it still has a good amount of charge.
I would visit the dealer, but I am a 3 hour drive from the nearest dealership and don't have plans on going that way until June.
any suggestions?
