Just took delivery - truck surging +\- 150 RPM???

Rsanders24, Sorry for the long lapse. The dealer said it was doing what it is supposed to do by adjusting to the the learned shift patters. I had them reset it but now it still does it. You could really feel the surge if you're using cruise control and hit the increase button and it'll give a little surge. If anyone knows how to turn off the adaptive shifting, I'm all ears (eyes).
 
what model year qx you rollin' in ?

when you say hit the "increase" button, do you mean ACCEL button?

you can reset the TCM and learned patterns manually yourself. i posted how to do this somewhere on this forum or you are welcome to crawl the internet. its a combination of pedal/timing, and IGN ON/OFF sequences.
