What year is your QX? I have a 2011 QX56 and would be interested. I'm thinking the disks maybe only good for one/two download(s) though.

the 2008 and up do not use disks. since they have HDDs installed the software is updated via the CONSULT at the dealer.

you purchase a code at the navteq site. take the code to the dealer. the dealer gets the update from nissan's server once it compares and checks out the code is legit.

2007 and older models use DVDs for map updates.

I'm sure there's got to be a way of downloading the Nav updates without going to the $tealership.

its all done from a nissan server through the consult.

i mean nothing under the sun is impossible, but this is really not something that can be done by usual means.
