Infiniti G20-G35 Alternator Compatibility - HELP!

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere I've looked on Google or in any other forums...
I have a 2004 - Infiniti G35 and my alternator just gave out on me... I have been looking for an affordable option, and I've actually come across an alternator that someone will GIVE to me, for free, but it's off of an Infiniti G20 (not entirely sure what year, can't remember at the moment). But anyways, IS an alternator off an Infiniti G20 compatible with an alternator off an Infiniti G35?? COULD I possibly use the alternator off the G20 for mine??
Please advise, I need my car back!!! Lol. Thanks everyone

Hi Nikki,

Welcome! I don't think it's a good idea to use the G20 alternator on the G35. I'm not expert but I know they're different amps (110 vs 90) so I'd stay away from that. Maybe somebody will correct me if I'm wrong. I saw some really good deals on the one you need here:
