How hard is it to replace the ignition in a 96 infinity i30? How much would a shop charge. I lost my key and its $200 to get a new one made and I found an ignition for $75
in all honestly after the cost of the ignition and installation it would probably be around 200 anyway and than you chance it failing because its not the original. is it a key with a chip? (dont think they had that till 99) if not you could probably find someone like a locksmith to make it cheaper than the dealer.
