Hi All,

I have 2001 Infinite I30 with 91000 miles on it. Ready for the major service. I called a mechanic today and he mentioned that it does not need major service until 105,000 miles and minor service should be good at 90,000 miles. Can anyone confirm if this is right with the infiniti's?

Another mechanic mentioned that at 90K the spark plugs needs to be replaced.
I believe the original spark plugs are platinum based and normally have life on 90K-120K miles. Should I replace them at 90K?

What are the things that are usually done at 90K service?

Thanks in advance

Pretty much at 90K you do the same service as you would at 60k and 30k... i.e. every 30k miles service.
Spark plugs are recommended to be changed at 105K service according to owner's manual.

At 60K the coolant is changed.. so I am assuming that the next coolant change should be at 120K range thereabouts. However since the car is obviously going to be older by the time it reaches 120K miles, you might want to change the coolant earlier. Like maybe around 110K miles. Hope this helps
