how to activate 1994 infiniti j30 alarm system?

Recently my 1994 infinti j30's automatic keyless entry remote ran out of battery so i got a new battery after about 2 weeks and I found out that it disconected itself from my car. Does anyone know what the installation steps are for the 1994 infiniti j30 keyless remote sytem back to my car? thanks

There Is A Connector Under The Dash By The Gas Petal Just Connect It Back And It Should Work

Are you saying that I should disconnect it and re-connect it and that it automatically reset itself?
