How good are the headlights on the 2011?

I have a 2007 QX56, the dim headlights are not good at all. They seems to be pointing toward the ground and not out. We have adjusted them the best we can, however one will not go up as high as the other. The bright headlights are great.

My question is are the dim lights on the 2011 like mine or much better. I am wanting a 2011, but the only hold-up is the light question and finding exactly what I am looking for. I know it says HID headlights, but not really sure what that means.

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

HID mean high intensity discharge. They are pretty bright. There is also a mild adjustment knob in the dash to move them up or down a few degrees. I kept getting flashed by other drivers the first few weeks and realized it was aimed up..set it one level lower and no issues since.

Yes, the headlights on the 2011 QX are very good, even better than the HID's I've had on other vehicles.
