How does the panic alarm work on an 1994 infiniti J30?

the alarm went off and now i don't know how to turn it off i tried disconnecting the battery cables but it doesn't work.
please help!

Bulls**t, if the battery was disconected it won't work

Yes, that is true that the whole system will shut down if you unplug the battery, but as soon as you plug it back up. It will start again, try using the key to lock and unlock doors.
