So I bought a 2007 M35x about two years ago and all was good until I had to slam the brakes on the highway. That was the first time I experienced my auto retracting seat belts. Now the go off all the time and it is driving me crazy. I am not an aggressive driver and most times the go off i am coming to a stop in a normal controlled fashion. there a way to reset them or is there some other fix for this?

had you tried disconnecting the car battery -- sometimes this will reset everything
