Has anyone removed the roof rack on their Qx56?

Just wondering if anyone has removed their roof racks. I'm wondering what the QX looks like without it? I'm thinking of doing it just to be different.
Has anyone seen one without it...and what it looked like?
I tried to google a photo of one without the racks but couldn't find anything.
From what I have discovered it sounds like its not too hard to do.

Are you talking about the cross bars or the entire rack with side rails too?

I usually take my crossbars off in the summer to reduce fuel consumption and put them back on for the winter so I can use my Thule Ski box.

I'm talking about taking the side rails off. I don't have the crossbars.

It would be pretty easy to mockup in a photo editor such as Photoshop if you know anyone capable.

be mindful that there may be holes left in the roof and you will need to get some bolts to screw in so water/debris wont fall into those holes....
 
I thought cross bars were std on 2012 and above models? Mine has it.

Yeah, What Marc said. Either fill those holes with a stainless steel screw with a little silicon or RTV, or just fill the screw holes full of silicon or RTV.
