gas meter on a 1998 infiniti i30 stuck on full?

ok so i got this 1998 inifniti i30 on monday the tank was alil under a quater full so i gave it a full tank, anyways since then i drove about 45-50 miles and its still slightly above full on the gage, is it because of slow reaction or did it break? its still under warranty from the dealer but can they fix this?

Sure it can be fixed if there is a problem. I'd say after 40 or 50 miles the gauge should move therefore, you have a problem. Take it back to the dealer and have them fix it. It shouldn't be to difficult. Most likely it's a broken float in the tank or gauge. Neither replacement is difficult.
