hi, i understand, but no one belived me either, until i showed up to the meet/show on nov 10,2007 with my tundra.& won the most tricked out tundra.
since than i have added so many thing's, i would take up most of the space here.LOL
but if any of you want to see my tundra in that meet/show that day, use the google and type in pictures of gorilla's tundra. it was posted by a friend, because i don't know how to post a picture myself. it is on another forum.
so this could be the case with this person. but what i did is i emailed the picture to a friend & he posted it. although it isn't a infinity. the reason i joined here was to ask a question,that has yet to be answered for a customer of mine.
since this meet i have added another 10g's.
i also did a test with air intakes. i have tried stock with stock filter, stock with a k&n filter, and k&n cai, & the volant cai.
as far as hp gain there is no better than K&N cai. but you will only see it at top end.
why most people have issue's with the oiled filter is very simple, they all over oil it. i never ever seen any oil on my sensor, & my throttle body is still silver (like new).
sadly unichip didn't have a map for my tundra when i had the K&N cai on, so i had to switch to volant. before my custom tune the volant gave me 2more MPG. but once the custom tune was done i lost the 2mpg, but my gains were worth the switch.
but honestly you can be correct here, because we have cought a few people who claim to own a vehicle, that don't. so although i did stick up for this guy, you might be correct.
if you asked me for picture's, i don't have new up dated picture's, showing all my mod's.
that doesn't mean there not there.
i suggest, a meet in his area. i'm sure there would be many that would love to have a meet/show. donations from dealership's, member's, aftermarket company's, etc ,could all get involved, and it could be a very cool day. when a group of infinity owner's show up, in a large group to show off there ride's.
i wanted a new meet/show, i was going to donate the trophy's, custom made emblems,& my dealership would donate free oil changes,hat's, shirt's, etc. but no one wanted to have it at a 1/4 mile track. i can only assume, most are stock, and the gen2 guy's didn't want to get beat by my ride. a 4.7 VS a 5.7 and the 5.7 lost. shameful.
this is something any forum can get going. we had a great time, that day. BBQ, drink's, chit chating, it went on for the whole day. this way you know who's real & who's FOS!
i'm in the process of looking for my next ride, it will be a fast car, like the GT-R, 638HP vette, 625hp viper, lexus is-f, m3 or m6, shelby gt500, i'm in no rush. i want to see & read all the forums, and lerk. you can really get some great info.
i have a few friends with the infinity's g35S, q45, q56,i think 1 has the g37S.
it's hard to keep up. most of them continue to lease them. 1 thing is for sure, when you drive the infinity it's like your in a plane, the way it's layed out. what i nice car.
