Looking at buying a 2013 qx56 with 80k miles from an infiniti dealer. Can they certify this vehicle for a fee?

Doesn't sound like a CPO. The dealer should make that call before putting the car on the lot. You don't pay for a car to CPO'd.

Usually the CPO is for vehicles which fall within the new vehicle warranty period from in service date and mileage.

The 80K mileage is outside the CPO ... but your Infiniti dealer could offer alternative coverags for a fee.

Was this a rental? Like Hertz. I know they use them and then sell them.

The reason I ask is the mileage, seems high to me for 2+ years. But that just may be me, I don't put a lot of miles on in a year.

only way to know is get the vin. but yeah hertz rents these and the newer model so it could very well have been and hertz could have sold it at auction.

if this is found to be a rental, my opinion is you keep looking.
