My old truck you hit the button and the seat warms electrically. This seat doesnt seem to get hot or cold, is this an issue with my seat or iis it the norm?

This has been an issue with Infiniti since I bought my first one in 2004. The seat heaters are slow, and do not get overly hot.

Living in the not so great Pacific Northwest, I have not had a chance to use the cooling function that much, but the couple times I did, they worked pretty good.

ive a 2012 here and the seat is not the conventional heating elements. it uses a different system that is fan forced. the seat heaters in back are the conventional outboard style heaters.

it does get pretty warm for my tush quickly but over time it will go to lukewarm, so if you have a 2011 or newer model then you are probably experiencing what is normal.

go sit in the back and turn on those seat heaters and see if you feel a difference.
