car starts after 2hrs after previous running infiniti i30?

1997 infiniti i30 starts after 2hrs after the car is turned off. Everything works and replaced the battery. I thought it was the car overheating but it does it at night too when the temp is cool. If you turn the key over all you hear is a click and nothing else. At the same time now the car's remote alarm is not working anymore. Is there a way to reset the car's alarm? is this due to a bad starter or cables?

So your saying it will not start after 2 hrs? turn on lights while trying to start. Do lights dim or go out? What kind of alarm is it, factory?
