Bought my new 2015 Q40 in February and my bluetooth phone connection is terrible. I have no problems hearing the caller, but everyone tells me my connection sounds like I'm underwater. I traded my 2011 Maxima and the system setup was nearly identical...same phone (iPhone 5C) and never had any issues with sound quality. I've tried adjusting the input and output volumes on the car's system, with no change.

I know the G37 had some similar issues a few years ago, but I think that was taken care of with a software upgrade. I have an appointment to see the dealer on Friday, but wondered if anyone had any suggestions?

Problem Solved

Just in case anyone actually looks at this, the fix was easy....when iPhone pairs up bluetooth with the car, turn to bluetooth volume all the way down on your phone(controller on side). When you do this, it shows the bluetooth volume decreasing on the iPhone screen. If you're like me, you turn it up when using bluetooth streaming audio. Makes the phone sound terrible to the person you're talking to.

Thank you very much for letting us know! I'm sure many people will be searching for a solution and appreciate that you posted the answer...

Took my 2015 Q40 to shop about a connection problems for bluetooth. (You could be talking and just loose call or it's real fuzzy sometimes) Fort Worth Infiniti Dealer told me that 2105 Q40 has some problems about this. Some phones my not be compatiable to thier system. Is this true. trying to pair S6 phone?
