Blue Tooth Microphone

Has anyone had their microphone replaced under the TSB: ITB12-063c for poor bluetooth sound/reception.

My dealer keeps telling me I'm using the latest/updated microphone and they did the "audio adjustments" last visit instead of a full replacement.

I get lots of crackling sounds, and peeps I'm speaking with say I sound like I'm $hiting in a can while talking!!

its not a "bluetooth" microphone. its a wired mike but is also used for BT. Just didnt want others/newcomers to think the mike was a true wireless BT mike..

was a thread on this already. one or two cats have replaced it for sure.

if you are feeling crafty, you can remove the roof finisher and trace the microphone and verify if its a later unit by the part number and cross reference it with the tsb.

Do you have any follow-up to the dealer visit? Mrs. Yokel called me from the QX the other day and it sounded like she was in a haunted Halloween movie. Just wondering what they told you so we could address it at the next oil change next week. TIA

They're ordering me a new mic apparently... will let u know when it arrives and installed; should be in the next week or so.
